Woke up early today suffering from jet lag. Feel so lucky to be able to have my mum's special "nutritious breakfast" again which I have it quite often before I went to NZ. She'll wake up early purposely even before the sun rise to make this if she knows anyone of us need to go to school or work. Well, normally we do not have appetite early in the morning and this bevarage contains all the nutrition required to kickstart a day. What a great mum that I have. :)

Oh! Today is a special day for me. Going to give a surprise rendezvous with a special person.

In the afternoon I called up Shiang and Theng to ensure that the plan were going on well. Honestly, there's no plan B and I reckoned that this is the best plan. So, by hook or by crook, we have to get this plan executed. Then, I followed my mum and sis for a hair cut, hoping to be in the best look to meet the special person later in the night.

Tada! After haircut. Short and smart!

"The night comes!"
7.00pm - I drove to Feeling cafe with extra caution. Find it hard to assimilate back into malaysia traffic.

7.30pm - Arrived. I chose a seat on a couch with my back facing the entrance. With the dim lighting, this would definitely enhance the surprise and the atmosphere. Anticipating them to reach here, I never felt so nervous before in my life. Kept calling and texting Shiang and Theng for their arrival time. Within half an hour, I've used the wash room twice (oh ya, what's funny here was that, during the 2nd visit, I saw an aunty coming out from the male toilet as if nothing had happened). During this interval, I kept thinking of how should I react when I saw her.

8.00pm - I heard Shiang's laughter. Here they came! OMG! I have yet to come out with a final decision. Nevermind, just stay cool like what I used to do.

The first sight, waving my hand, I said "hi" with a smile. She stared at me with her eyes opened unbelievably big for a little while before she covered her face with her hands and kept mumbling to herself. Everyone laughed. What I can hear was, "No, it's not him. No, it's not him....". After recovered from shock, she still couldn't believe that it was me, Mr Tan Tuan Hwan, (Haha!) because I told her and assure her that I will not go back to m'sia again this (2009-2010) summer. With this reaction, I know that my plan succeeded! But not the mission.

And here's the "special person" I was refering to. She has become thinner but still so pretty.

Casley's blog about this here.
