Promise

11th December 2010

I was thinking of how to confess for quite awhile. After a careful thought I knew I won't have the guts to say it out when she's in front of me, so I decided to buy a present and attach it with a letter with all the messages written in it. But what present best suits such circumstance?

Yup it definitely must be this, and this particular pair of rings. Well, for me, rings (those used for engagement or marriage, not accessory) symbolise promise. With the words "Forever Love" on them and after customised them by carving our names on it, it'll be the perfect gift that not only suits such occasion but also 1 that clearly carries all my messages.

If you still can't read in between the lines, here, let me tell you. I saw, long ago, this girl's perspective in love resembles that of mine. On the other hand, I have seen her suffered more than enough through her past experience. Hence, I hope I can provide her the love and happiness that she deserves. A promise, as I was taught since young, can never be broken. I am no God but a simple man who hope to fulfill her wish for eternal love and infinite care.

Or Lame Excuses?

29 November 2009

And here I come again... This time with a lamer excuses in order to see her. I asked her if she wants to come over my house to use the internet for her blog and FFS. I knew that is lame but the one who accepts it must be desperate. To my great surprise and joy, she agreed!

Here is it. (from left) Casley's laptop, mine and then my bro's desktop.

I gave her one Whittaker's chocolate bar from NZ.

I called her up during the traffic jam on the way back from work. I couldn't think of anymore excuses. Haha. But while we were chatting, she told me that her parents were out and she and her sis will have to make their own dinner - OPPORTUNITY. Hehe.

I really wanted to invite her out for dinner but my mum already cooked mine. So I will just have to get a takeaway for her. Meeting up with her for just a few seconds is better than nothing. At least we interacted. And this time another appalling discovery - (ok, only if you are staying in Setapak or somewhere nearby) she never tries the famous hokkien noodles at the back of Tawakal Hospital! (The back street?! Sounds like a doggy place but I guarantee you that it's legit.) Alright this is not as shocking as Ramly burger but still she'd been staying here since she was born! Even people faraway knows about this.

Ta-da... The famous hokkien noodle I mentioned. Originated (I heard that) from KL (not Fujian, China though it's called "hokkien" noodle) and only available in some part of Malaysia. Definitely a delicacy for tourists.

The fried rice. With the intense fire where we couldn't get with household stoves, it manages to seperate every single rice but not drying it up and with eggs sticking at the side of the rice but not merging. Simply delicious, and a must-try.

One of the sides - fish cake. Crispy outer layer wrapping around the tender and juicy meat. Just look at it will make you drool...

Of course there are a lot more choices you can order. For non local, here's the details of the place:
Along Jalan Pahang, Setapak, you will see the Tawakal Hospital after a petrol station. Turn left into the street right after the hospital and keep going straight. The stall will be right in front of you.

White Excuses?

28th November 2009

I asked her if she wants to come along for my company to buy my working clothes. To increase the probability of she saying yes, I added that she can bring her laptop along to a cafe in the mall so she can online there and play her FFS. I knew she was crazy with it and the P1 in her house doesn't work. =P Although I don't know much about FFS, it's just one excuse so I can hang out with her, alone again. Haha.

She was happily playing FFS ....

... while I was bored. I never had such a patience waiting for someone. First picture, I was staring into the blank... around 30 minutes later calling for help. (Look carefully at my expression)

Really love this photos taken while trying out in the fitting room.

1st time doing this - self-photographing. Also 1st time being so close with a girl other than my sis and my mum. This is also the day that I found out that she's such a camwhore when I looked through her phone.

In the night while sending her back home, I suggested a supper again. The reason's the same - just wanted to buy some time with her. We had Ramly burger. For me it is definitely the tastiest burger you can ever get. Besides, it's cheaper, the portion is bigger compare to the 1 you get in fast food restaurants, and also you can customise your own burger to whatever you want!

The famous Ramly burger stall in Malaysia - beside the road (Haha) but they have tried to improve the hygene due to the increasing demand.

But guess what I discovered? It's her FIRST time having Ramly bueger!!! WTF??!! Man! If I don't know her since young, I'll probably think she's from other country or perhaps other planet and just arrived here. You never been to Malaysia until you try out Ramly burger. Hehe.

First Outing

26th of November 2009

This is not the first, but the second time I hung out with her alone, all thanks to Shiang and Theng. Hehe. Initially I invited them to watch the movie "2012" but they couldn't make it. Though they rejected me, I'm grateful as this outing give me a chance to create more opportunities to be with her alone later on.

I really worried that I'll freak out or bored her up as I never actually hang out with a girl alone, not with a "purpose" or "plan" behind it. Fortunately I didn't. All the while, I kept reminding myself that we are just good friends. Not easy to do that but I did it with patience and hopefully I've cheered up her day.

I even dressed up very normally - the first step to calm myself down.
I really miss piano back in NZ.

The first thing we found in common - we like tea eggs!

Oh yeah! The boys are back! I grew up with this cartoon and my brother is named after him - Alvin. Amazingly their characters (good at tackling girls, naughty, sociable...) are almost alike! Yet i refuse to get the name Simon (sorry but it just sounds gay). This time they are back in pairs. Is it implying something??

January 2008. An unforgettable outing before I came to NZ. We watched Alvin and the Chipmunks 1. Such a co-incident that this time when I came back, the 2nd movie is coming out.

A supper as an excuse to stay together with her longer. We pranked Zhen Hou and I was very excited abt the next day when I'll be going back to Wushu and give a surprise to my senior.

So, how abt the 1st time? Well, it's really a looooong story and let's reflect back (I don't really want to do that but I'll do it for the sake of completing the story) what has actually happened in the post titled "Reminiscence"......

Casley's blog about this here.

About this blog

Well it starts out with the intention of recording down all the moment we spent together. Photos will do but, with the help of words, we hope to capture not merely the activities but also the feeling and atmosphere at those particular moment. Hence, my apology that those posts might appear to be rather lengthy in words. For us, all of these memories are precious and definitely worth cherishing.

In this blog, posts are mostly from my point of view and things that are more personal that is not shown on her website. To know abt her view please feel free to visit her blog with the link on top.

I was initially a person who even hates to be in photos. Being a forgetful person, I never think that memory is so precious until I get to know her closer. It's her. She really has great influence over me. In fact, I'm shock to realise that within 2 month, she has totally changed my thought and my view that I had for over 21 years!

So, later on I decided to make this my own blog and also a series of our story from young and hopefully carries on for eternity.
